Leonard Kendrick, a dispatcher with the Trinity College Campus Safety Department, was dismissed on Tuesday, April 29, after having failed to report multiple larceny convictions while employed at Trinity College. Responding to an anonymous tip, The Trinity Tripod pursued an investigation last week regarding Kendrick's alleged criminal background.
5 CommentsOn May 5, 2008 Dean of Students Frederick Alford released the following statement: "This morning the Campus Safety Office received a report from the Hartford Police Department that sometime between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Monday, May 5, an adult female non-student went to the dormitory room of a Trinity student and asked him to accompany her to a site that is approximately a mile off campus.

A student run project founded by Mike DiPietro '11, the Web site, is modeled after similar college blogs such as Wesleyan's Wesleying and Middlebury's Midd-blog.

Students, faculty, and alumns went out to community service organizations around Hartford to perform tasks like planting flowers, inputting data in computer databases, and fixing armrests at the Hartford Children's Theater.
0 CommentsLisa Kassow, Director of Trinity College's Zachs Hillel House, will receive the Vision Award in Jewish Heritage for her lifetime devotion to Jewish Arts, Culture and Education from the Charter Oak Cultural Center. Kassow is one of the three Hartford residents who are being honored by Charter Oak for their dedication to "repairing the world" through teaching, promoting social awareness, and working for justice.

Faculty, administrators, and students gathered in the faculty lounge of Hamlin Hall to see the revised budget. The original budget was finalized in December, but changes had to be madedue to events that happened after this time.

The Council has focused on a variety of initiatives including the Vernon Street and Allen Place houses, the formation of an events committee, co-curricular activities, and first-year program discussions.

Students enjoyed a solar powered concert on the Mather quad with acts such as Chase Caillouette, Will Raymond, Malcolm Brown, Zee Santiago, and the Quirks.
