The Council, formed after a recommendation by the Board of Trustees at their December meeting, aims to continue the work done by the Charter Committee for Campus Climate, in addition to making sure the reforms recommended by the Committee are met.

The blame for this can be pointed to the fact that there is no unified recycling system or plan on campus. In order to fix this problem, Green Campus has submitted a proposal to the Student Government Association (SGA) for the creation of a group of six students coined the "Trinity College Recycling Task Force.

Lasting through Saturday, March 8, NCEC is a nationwide effort between high schools, colleges, and universities across the country aimed at making energy efficiency a part of daily life, and to mobilize students and other citizens for broader climate action.
