Language: A Call for Depth

I am reading the novel 1984 by George Orwell for a writing course. It is probably the fourth time I have read it for some kind of academic assignment. However, every time I read the book I realize another theme or make another connection with it to my experience of the course of world progress and activity.

Yup-Four More Years

In his letter "Four More Years?", Paul G. Jaehnert reiterated the litany of familiar anti-Bushisms. He concluded with the grave prediction of "...four more years of a deeply divided country" resulting from a Bush victory. This claim concerns me. The essence of a two party system is a difference in philosophy and outlook.
